Funding Assistance

There are numerous options available to families who are looking for assistance in helping pay for costs incurred to have their children play sports.  In all instances, we ask that you apply early to ensure the funds are available long before the season starts to help with administration and delays that can be involved.

Kidsport Saskatoon

Canadian Tire Jumpstart

  • Will cover costs associated with registration, equipment and/or transportation.
  • Children can be funded for successive seasons in an activity up to a maximum of $300 per activity; subject to Chapter discretion and/or local demands.
  • The annual maximum is $600; again, subject to Chapter discretion and/or local demands. 
  • Online applications may take 6-8 weeks to be processed so please apply early.

Dream Brokers

  • The Dream Brokers program is targeted to children and youth attending the elementary schools selected to participate in the program with consideration paid to referrals from other schools.  The program is constructed to work in close partnership with the community and the school staff to connect children, youth and their families to positive programming and other opportunities in the greater communities of Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert.
